Frontier materials

Context
For the first edition of the PUZZLE X event, a forum to gather the world of frontier materials with the themes of social impact, venture capital and conscious entrepreneurship, we were invited to create a Knowledge Wall and live scribing interventions in the spaces of the Barcelona Fair.

Process
PUZZLE X asked us to make scientific contents accessible in a visual way, also allowing participants that were not following all the
sessions, to understand the main themes and the interconnections between them, and to discuss possible innovations deriving from use of frontier materials. They also asked us to create a map to illustrate the three-day journey.

Solution
During the sessions, we created digital visualizations of the key concepts making the contents immediately available. We have set up the spaces outside the conference room of the fair with two large walls: a Knowledge wall with the visual summary of the three days and a large surface where the participants could exchange contacts and write their ideas on issues related to the SDGs, creating spaces for dialogue and reflection.
