Icons to express yourself

Context
The MART, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, is an important institution and cultural center, thanks to a rich offer of events and workshops aimed at a wide audience.

Process
We conceived a 1-day workshop dedicated to the design of icons and their narrative potential. The goal was to boost creativity and challenge participants, both amateur and professional creatives, through individual and group activities, using common drawing tools and unexpected objects.

Solution
A creative workshop structured on the alternation of instructional and experimental moments. The participants approached the concept of graphic synthesis and then collaborated in teams to create a visual narrative using only icons.
