Context
Mondovisioni is the documentary film festival promoted by the magazine Internazionale and dedicated to topics such as current events, information and human rights. The festival is made possible thanks to Kinodromo, Housatonic and Sfera Cubica, in collaboration with CineAgenzia. We curated its visual identity for many years, 2018 included.

Process
Starting from an analysis of the documentaries’ themes and of Mondovisioni long-term goal, we developed an identity based on the festival’s view on reality: a clear perspective of current events with a mixture of realism, contamination and integration. We therefore worked on a series of illustrations showing the eyes of people of different gender, age and nationality.

Solution
For this year’s edition, we adapted the visual identity to a leaflet that could be also used as a poster, a video teaser, collecting excerpts of all the documentaries and projected on the movie theater’s screen, and some useful materials for the festival’s communication (gif, Facebook banners, images of the documentaries).
