Illustrations for L’Orto in Campania

Context
Klépierre is a company specialized in the development and management of commercial assets dedicated to retail. The Group also manages important development and awareness programs, including L’Orto in Campania, an educational garden created by Centro Commerciale Campania in Marcianise (CE). Their requirement was to create a botanical herbarium/guide for the first 5 years of activity, that would allow young people to deepen their knowledge on the garden’s plant kingdom during educational workshops held daily in the space.

Process
After having identified the presence of over 150 species and having made a careful photographic research for details and visual specificities, we have realized the individual illustrations by drawing flower, fruit and leaf of each plant.

Solution
A botanical herbarium/guide, beautifully illustrated and extremely accurate thanks to a rigorous botanical classification, to teach young people the beauty of nature and observe macroscopically its characteristics. The book will be distributed for free in schools for educational workshops.
