It will not be possible to generate a transformation of the socio-economic system in the direction of a more sustainable, more resilient and fairer Europe, without a strong involvement of society as a whole starting from associations, territories, business networks, and individual citizens. The first need is to see the present, focusing on the progress that has been made, but also on the great delays and shortcomings regarding the sustainable development goals.
