A take-away plant-based cooking lab
Pasto Nomade is a plant-based cooking lab based in Bologna, with the main goal to stimulate a change of mentality in relation to the environment and sustainability through food and, in particular, the working lunch break. We were asked to design its visual identity to communicate these values and their many initiatives, from the menus to the website and the story of the project, as well as catering, events and social media.
We approached the project by first defining all the key concepts to be communicated: a vegetable and homemade proposal, always on the move and in an urban context, with an all-female team of cooks. A dynamic visual identity has gradually been outlined, which uses a simple layout and illustrated elements, a manual approach and elegant typography. The communication work has followed the evolution and construction of Pasto Nomade step by step, developing immediate and recognizable communication materials.
A dynamic identity that develops from the logo and leads to a rich and versatile set of illustrated icons. We also designed a color palette and a typeface created ad hoc to reinforce the manual and material approach of the project. All these elements have allowed us to prepare many collaterals in an ever-changing way, ranging from print to digital materials: a brand identity that perfectly represents a new and constantly evolving project.
