Spasticity in Multiple Sclerosis

Context
AISM (Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society) asked us to develop two videos about spasticity aimed at two different targets: people with MS and medical staff (neurologists and nurses).
The intent was to raise awareness about this symptom in order to deal with it more effectively, both from a patient and a medical perspective.

Process
Living daily life with spasticity is like facing an unknown world still to explore, wearing a pair of heavy boots at the same time. We chose these images to visualize a metaphorical journey through which the two protagonists move (a person with MS and a health worker), narrating it in parallel from each point of view.

Solution
Two informative videos that give an overview of spasticity, with a different tone of voice and type of information presented according to the specific target. The videos share the same narrative and visual imagery in order to highlight how a conscious approach to dealing with the symptom is fundamental from both parts.
