Context
In October 2018 The World Bank held the “Building for Peace in MENA: Reconstruction for Security, Sustainable Growth and Equity” workshop, inviting Political Economy, Architecture and Sociology experts operating in Middle East and North Africa post-war countries, to learn from their cases and complete a paper displaying a framework with a great objective: reconstruction for a future of peace and cohesion.

Process
The case-history panels and the resulting analyses followed one another, with focus group discussions that revealed the deep interconnection between infrastructure reconstruction, social fabric and people relationships, letting the framework pillars emerge in a clear way.

Solution
We generated twelve visual maps and a first-draft visual model of the framework, supporting all the voices involved for an organic and homogeneous picture. The visualizations were presented at the end of each day, with particular interest during a mid-term report in front of The World Bank Senior Management.
