Context
Estravagario is a fair trade vegetarian restaurant that has been offering organic cuisine in Bologna, Italy, for years. By carefully choosing the ingredients for the preparation of the dishes, they strive every day to spread the culture of sustainable eating, offering a vegetarian and vegan menu in the historic center of the city. After many years, Estravagario wanted to renew its visual identity while still preserving its strong identity and roots, making itself more visible and recognizable.

Process
Starting from the history of the place and its people and elaborating with them the key elements of their offer, we redesigned the logo and the restaurant’s space while guaranteeing continuity with the previous identity and enhancing its strengths.

Solution
We have developed a simple and recognizable graphic language to represent this genuine reality both in online communication (social media and soon-to-be website) and in the actual environment, from the illustrated walls to the menus and the new sign of the restaurant.
